In terms of, Section-17(1) of the Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur Act, 2025 (Punjab Act no. 2025) issued on 30.07.2025 by the Department of Legal and Legislative Affair Punjab, the Academic Council shall be the principle Academic body of the University and it shall subject to the provision of the RBPU act, the statute, the ordinances and the regulation, coordinate and exercise, general supervision over the academic policy of the university. The term of the members is two years, (except for ex-officio members) and quorum of the meeting shall be one-third of the total members as prescribed in the statute of the university.
