As per the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, the Anti-Ragging Squad is constituted to maintain a strict vigil and ensure a ragging-free environment on campus. The Squad is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct regular and surprise inspections at vulnerable locations, take immediate action on any reported or observed incident of ragging, and submit reports to the Anti-Ragging Committee for further necessary action. The Squad thus plays a crucial enforcement and preventive role in safeguarding students' welfare.
