At the core of the growing popularity of Rayat-Bahra Professional University among students and parents is the industry-focused curriculum that enables students to become employment- ready by the time they complete their course. The University believes in making learning effective by involving and engaging the students in various interdisciplinary and co-curricular activities.
To help students adapt easily to the industry environment, the University has made Domain Skills, Soft Skills, and Industry Interface an integral part of its Curricula. In addition, the University aims to develop world-class Entrepreneurs with its focus on Entrepreneurship Skill Development with International Exposure.
Candidates shall have to register as bonafide students with the University as per regulations before the commencement of instruction in the first semester and for lateral entry students in the 3rd semester. A student is allowed to attend classes only for those subjects that the student has registered in a semester.
A student must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each of the campus-based courses without which the student shall be disqualified from appearing in the respective examinations and the student is required to register again (RRA) in the course.
Two MST’s will be conducted in one semester as per the academic calendar by the concerned Schools. The MST shall be conducted as per the norms of the University.
The continuous evaluation will include the MST results, and other components such as tutorials, laboratory exercises/viva/project files, home assignments, several quizzes/class tests, the regularity of attendance, etc.
On the basis of the Academic Calendar, the date sheet for the End Semester examination shall be conveyed to the concerned Schools at least two weeks prior to the start of end term exams. The COE will get the answer books evaluated by table marking by the set of examiners.
At the conclusion of the semester, a student is awarded a grade in each of the courses the student has taken during that period. The grade awarded to a student in a course will depend on total performance in all components of the evaluation. Every student must appear in MST-1, MST-2, and End Term Examination. For D. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy Practice courses, three MST’s during the session are mandatory.
At the end of every semester, the following minimum academic standards have to be maintained by students: A student should have an SGPA of at least 4.0 for diploma & undergraduate courses and SGPA 4.5 for postgraduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 4.0)
Students who fulfill the graduation criteria will be issued a provisional degree/certificate.

To convert CGPA awarded by the University to percentage marks, the CGPA awarded should be multiplied by ten (10).
